Comebacking former champion Antonio Margarito of Mexico feels confident that his countryman, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, has what it takes to defeat, and knock out, WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto.

Canelo and Cotto will face each other in a highly anticipated fight on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Canelo won't have no bricks in his gloves, plus Canelo doesn't have the stamina nor the chin to keep coming at Cotto while eating a lot of punches in the process and then eventually wear him down and stop him, Canelo has to land big calculated punches on Cotto and wear him down systematically, but Cotto's movement and ring generalship, along with his body punching and Canelo's questionable stamina are gonna be factors in the fight, 50-50 fight, but I don't see it turn into Cotto vs Margarito I at all.

I see canelo grinding cotto down.people talk about canelo's stamina but cotto's stamina isn't great either he fades away late in fights.canelo has a much better chin he is also younger and fresher.

As much as I'm rooting for Cotto he is most probably going to lose this fight unfortunately, and probably by round 10 as Margarito guessed. The problem is that Cotto's last two opponents were severely physically compromised so his victories seemed very good but they were against injured/weight-drained opponents. A fit and healthy Canelo is going to be a number of levels above those two compromised opponents and I don't think Cotto will be able to deal with that at this point in his career, I can even see a corner stoppage.

a D fighter a c fighter cause of injury and a c fighter due to weight drainage. Cotto dont fool me. Canelo is a C fighter as well imo . But he is young fresh and styles make fights. I got canelo UD 7-5. Canelo isnt drained have bum knees and isnt a d fighter like rodriguez.
