Comments Thread For: 30 Day Weights: Mayweather 149.8, Berto 155 - Photo

On September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Floyd “Money?Mayweather (48-0, 26 KO’s) will defend his World Boxing Council and World Boxing Association welterweight titles against Andre Berto (30-3, 23 KO’s), who previously held the WBC/IBF titles at the weight.

Because of the WBC's sanction, both fighters had to take part in the required 30-day weighin, which the organization requires to ensure their health via sensible and gradual weight loss.

You know, sometimes I log into BS hoping that one thread will say "April fools! Mayweathers real September 12th opponent is (insert better fighters name here)",but sadly this joke of a fight is actually happening, and on ppv no less.

I don't trust that scale. Mayweather is at least 165 as always.

You gotta respect Mayweather's dedication to the game. Every athlete in every athletic discipline would reach their own personal potential if they were as strict as Mayweather.
