there is no bigger title than the heavyweight title, that i can say, but to move up 5 divisions, win double digit world titles, beat more champs than others, win more lineal titles than others, and be currently unified in two different weight classes, the degree of difficulty to do those things can be held to what marciano had done as a heavyweight.

He was asked flat out which of the two had the better streak if Mayweather broke the record, and he sided with Marciano because he did it at the heavyweight level.

That's Hagler's opinion, and he's entitled to it. Since this is all very much subjective, there is no for sure correct answer, so we really should not get too upset if people rank different fighters as number one or two or three - whatever. It is all speculation. And as far as I am concerned, Larry Holmes is another fighter who often is not ranked as highly as he should be (well above Muhammad Ali in my book).

we get Mr Hagler you don't like Floyd for some one that came up from 130 to 154 beating 20 world champions on the way Floyd's accomplishments are grossly underrated i know the guy is easy to hate but c'mon son.

I disagree. I watched the video and he 100% implied Marciano had the better record. Yes he said it was 'more impressive' because it was done at heavyweight but either way he thinks Marciano's is better simply because it was done at the biggest weight level.
