Seeing as Oscar flat out said they don't have to discuss a rematch unless it's a great fight, this sounds like made up nonsense. Oscar isn't trying to negotiate a rematch so what is the real hold up?

Unless the fight turned out one sided, either way, both would be happy with a rematch because it would keep them away from Golovkin. Nobody is unbeatable, including GGG, but there's no doubt other middleweights aren't rushing to face him. Action in this fabled division could really open up if Lemieux is able to put a dent in Gennady, and I hope he can for that reason, plus I'm sure he's got the mindset to give it a big try, but imo Golovkin is likely to impose himself in a manner that will make rival claimants at 160 even more reluctant to take him on.

anything to avoid a fight with gennady golovkin is a good idea for these guys. a rematch clause is smart. i can definitely see it.

No reason to bring Foreman's religion into it...and no need to use it as a pejorative.
