Comments Thread For: Lee Selby Inks Advisory Pact With Al Haymon

Barry’s Lee Selby has become the latest British fighter to sign an advisory deal with Al Haymon, the powerful U.S. fight mogul. The 28-year-old Welshman joins recent signees Carl Frampton and James DeGale, although long-term manager Chris Sanigar will still remain on board as his manager.

"I'm delighted to have signed with Al Haymon and I'm looking forward to boxing in some massive fights ahead," revealed Selby in a statement released earlier today. [Click Here To Read More]

This "advisor" slash "manager" slash "promoter" needs shutting down a bit. Daniel Jacobs labelled Haymon his manager while Selby has penned a "advisory pact" with him.

I'm glad De La Hoya and Arum are throwing lawsuits at him.

Selby is not undefeated. He lost his 5th fight. Who writes these articles?

So we can get a Russell/Selby/Frampton/Mares/Santa Cruz mix? I'd watch any of that.

              No Loma/Selby, though.

Lomachenko is literally on an island by himself now at 126. Getting sick of this cold war.

How many UK fighters does that make for Haymon? DeGale, Frampton, Eubank, Selby...

I wonder if Brook will sign with Haymon now that it sounds like Khan just left?

I thought Selby lost a 4 rounder before?
