    World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman has no issue with Floyd Mayweather Jr. defending his WBC welterweight title against Andre Berto on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

    Berto is a former WBC welterweight champion and Sulaiman thinks he is capable of presenting a dangerous challenge to Mayweather's undefeated record.

    The fight has not officially been announced, but many are stating that Berto is the frontrunner being considered and the bout would head to Showtime Pay-Per-View.

        He might as we say "Floyd you've been so loyal to us all these years,and given us so much money from the sanctioning fees,you don't ever have to defend the belts again. Pick a random bum off the street,and we'll say that he's a great opponent,and we'll justify the fight".

            He doesn't have one( with the WBO belt it was Bradley) just number 1 contenders and they are:
            Lara
            Thurman
            Khan
            Mundine

            Technically Berto is The interm champ so he's right behind Thurman in the rankings.
