Even if weve seen the best of Garcia, hes accomplished alot in this sport, with all the sanctioning bodies hes emerged as the very best at 140. He cleaned it up with the Matthysse win, his reign was superior to Khan and Bradleys run at 140. Judah was the last real Champ at 140. Garcias time at JWW could even be HOF worthy.

not much is stopping danny from taking over, i think he beats thurman algieri brook etc and the rest of the 1 win gods
I share this opinion and WW is extremely overrated. Thurmans ok but beatable, Bradley is good but doesnt have options. Brook looks the goods but Hearn is killn his momentum. Porter is a player for now. Not much outside of that in terms of substance.

you mean the fight where he only won because a foul was called a knockdown, and then he avoided a rematch? that's not really cleaning up. that's taking advantage of a corrupt system that was setup to bring him prosperity through bad judging and reffing.

If he beats Paulie he should go after porter next. He shouldn't make the mistake broner made by going in with a big puncher right away.

HOF for what he did at light-welterweight?

He was clear Ring champion for the division but that's is all.

I dont know about that, maybe technically, but not factually.

Bradley was the last champion at 140, because he was clearly the best fighter.

Also, Garcia did not have to contend with Alexander/Bradley/etc.

Not convinced that Garcia would beat Bradley now at 147.
