Szpilka not a bad opponent, but gonna get caught down the pipe with a straight right IMO. Hands down probably while he's leaning back to avoid

Well some also think Ward/Kovalev will actually happen, so... You know, Urban Tales ...

in my book Szpilka has 1 round or 2 to make it happen... Then it's too late...

he'll probobly get dropped, maybe a few times.

Wilder is one good counter away from getting laid out.

Has wilder been in with a competent southpaw before? I'm interested to see if it gives him any problems. Should be a good scrap.

                Wilder has 17" thighs.

                17" folks

he's never been in with anyone competent.

Szpilka probably deserves to be ranked somewhere between #15-20 at heavyweight and he has a decent win over an old Adamek. I liked Szpilka as a prospect coming up through the ranks— he's athletic, has heavy hands, and is entering the fight on a winning streak, but I believe his style of fighting is all wrong. He fights off the back foot and looks to throw quick counters, which is effective against the right opponent but didn't work at all against guys with good reach like Jennings.

I think Szpilka would be better suited as a pressure fighter but it's a little too late to make those necessary adjustments. The stylistic match-up against Wilder is going to be difficult for Szpilka to overcome, because Wilder not only has reach, but also possesses devastating power, and Szpilka is a little bit chinny. With that being said, Szpilka is still a better opponent than any of Wilder's previous defenses.

Szpilka is a decent fighter, but Bermane Stiverne and Malik Scott are better.
