UFC champion Ronda Rousey explained why she took a verbal shot, on live television, in the direct of WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

After winning the award for "Fighter of The Year" at the ESPYs on Wednesday night, Rousey took aim at Mayweather during a televised interview.

Rousey took a swing at Mayweather's controversial past with domestic violence. Both Mayweather and Rousey were nominated for this year's ESPY for Fighter of The Year. Terence Crawford and Gennady Golovkin were also in the running.

I like Rousey and always watch her fights, but damn she sounds salty here. Sarcastic jibe or not, it's not like Mayweather put her on blast. If this chick considers 'failure to acknowledge' as a huge diss, and therefore harboured a grudge like that for a year, then she's got issues.
