    Harrison got his lmao.

Lundy deserves squat. He is sloppy and it was his own head butt that ended his own chances .. get lundy vs broner since broner needs a tunenup after getting beat up by porter.

GGG is the A side ,ward wants a big fight and is realistic then he needs to meet half way. Ward is in no position to dictate terms.
A side has spoken and HBO backs the A side.

When will ward leave oakland and fight a pulse???

Im a PBC supporter but lately ive been more critical of their matchmaking. Breadman mentioning that PBCs only been around 4 months really put it in perspective for me. Theyve actually put on some great fights in that span when you think about it.

        GGG the A side? LOL.

Noone but his converted Pacquiao fanbase believes that.

Ward is the A side whenever they finally square up

Breadman is dead on. GGG's terms for the fight just screams "I dont want to fight Andre Ward" because he doesnt. This has always been clear to everyone but fanboys. Its like when Martinez called out Pacquiao and Pacquiao told Martinez he would fight him at 150 and Martinez just laughed and said nevermind, because the message was clear.

        Same situation.

Please.. His last win is as credible as any of GGG's wins considering he fought a freaking heavyweight. You do know GGG is valued highly only on NSB right? Hes a popular fighter, sure.. Hes not on even on Broners level of popularity lol.

When GGG and Ward are actively fighting, they pull roughly the same numbers, ratings and gate wise. GGG brings absolutely no money to the table either, this is such an absurd myth thats going around lol.

If GGG wants to dare to be great and finally add a credible name to his resume, he can move up and fight the super middleweight champion, if he doesnt, then he can stay at 160 and continue to call out junior welterweights

What are you talking about? Ward drew 323k tv viewers on free tv where Golovkin just did over 1.3 million viewers on HBO. Golovkin/Monroe did slightly better in tv rating and 4,000 more in attendance than Ward/Dawson (which was at Ward's peak in terms of popularity and in his hometown).

Popularity wise, there's little question Golovkin has more. Additionally with his style of fighting, he's going to continue to draw more where Ward's going to continue to struggle without a big name opponent.

Additionally Golovkin is the one with options on the horizon: Alvarez, Lemieux, Lee, Eubank. Ward wasn't even willing to travel for DeGale (who's no longer an option anyways). Ward needs Golovkin way more than Golovkin needs Ward, and he also needs Golovkin to be willing to move up to his weight or atleast closer - both of which is undeniable leverage in Golovkin's favor.

I said when they were both actively fighting( Obviously Ward has been the inactive one) Theres no doubt his numbers look good when hes fighting much more than Ward and gaining momentum.

I disagree on "Ward needs GGG more than GGG needs Ward" Thats silly, which angle you wanna take?

Ward has said hes comfortable retiring right now, in his mind he probably feels like hes hit his ceiling, and alot of people feel that way. Career Super middleweights tend to have shorter careers (IMO)

If Ward retires today, Hes known as one of the best Super Middleweights ever and a surefire HOFer who flirted with ATG status

GGG on the other hand would be a hyped up power puncher that crushed tomato cans and a nobody really, if he retired today

Ward gets paid well, he got 2 million for one tune up, and I believe 3 million for the other, his pockets arent hurting, he doesnt need this fight for the money.

Ward wouldnt be punished for not moving DOWN to fight GGG, Im not saying GGG would be punished, but its a legacy fight for GGG because he would be the one moving up in weight daring to be great. Ward's legacy is pretty much sealed... All that is left is fighting Kovalev really, and that fight is going to happen, its been all but confirmed that its agreed upon at some point next year.

Ward vs Kovalev enhances Ward's legacy, not define it (Hes moving up in weight daring to be great) because Ward-Stevenson is never happening

This is the "big" fight for GGG, not for Ward. GB firmly stated Canelo is a few years away from moving to 160 (Fighters will fight at 155 for the payday) and you're silly if you think GB is going to offer up Lemieux to GGG, hes being saved for Canelo, Oscar is already talking about it for Canelo's follow up fight after Cotto. Lee-Cotto would happen much sooner than GGG-Lee and thats probably Cotto's next fight after Canelo win or lose. Roc Nation is going to push for Ward-GGG rather than Cotto-GGG, its the more winnable fight for their fighter.

GGG doesnt have that many options, unless you think Eubank is credible, okay. GGG needs Ward more than Ward needs GGG. I dont think GGG would be comfortable with retiring today.
