Comments Thread For: George Groves Reacts To Retirement of Carl Froch

Carl Froch's retirement was expected but nobody knew exactly when it would happen. Froch made it official very early Tuesday morning in the UK (late Monday night in America).

Froch's career will be defined by many things. The former world champion known as "The Cobra" admits that his two-fight series with domestic rival George Groves will be the defining moment of his pro career.

Lol. I can just see George gritting his teeth and trying very hard to say something nice about Carl, and he almost managed to do it.

The record books will always read that Groves was 0-2 with Froch.

Lol groves has some decent banter... Hope he beats Jack and rematches Degale, the event will be massive. Think Degale will have his number this time tho

Im glad you find it funny, whilst I don't even understand what he meant by that?

But the only problem I have with Froch retiring now is that it would have been better if he could have let his fans know what his last fight would be and when, so at least they could have got a chance to see him, knowing it was his last.
Let it be against a bum in an ideal world but if he was to fight again people would want him against GGG or Degale and he might not want a hard one.
