    Tampa, Florida - Following his victory over Luis Collazo, WBA 'regular' welterweight champion Keith Thurman (26-0, 22 KO’s) publicly stated on the ESPN broadcast that he wants to fight Floyd Mayweather or any top welterweight for that matter. In terms of the Mayweather fight, Thurman feels that Floyd Mayweather should fight him now before he gets better.

        This is 100% correct. Thurman wins 2 or 3 rounds max and loses a boring UD.

          Thurman, Brook, Porter, Bradley, seem to be the only standout WW's that would be an okay fight for Floyd. The most fun fight would probably be Mayweather vs Cotto II at 155lbs for The Ring/WBC MW title.

            Thurman better get on that manny pacquiao 2000 sit ups a day program,because you'd better believe that mayweather would be jabing away at that body all night long. That being said,I still think that thurman would get shut out canelo style against mayweather,so before he gets embarrassed,he should focus more on making his own name,instead of calling mayweather out. A fight with brook,or with porter would really make a statement.

              Every one calls out Mayweather. Light Heavyweights (Hopkins), Super Middleweights (Ward), Middleweights (Golovkin). So of course, guys from his own weight class will call him out.

                Gonna look bad on floyd if thurman gets better and becomes one of the better fighters of his era in the long run.

                Floyd ducked thurman. Like joe calzaghe ducked froch.

                Thurman has beat everyone haymon put in front of him whether you like it or not. Collazo quit last night cause he was feeling the heat.

                Thurman breaks guys down.

                Fliyd will avoid thurman and fight berto imo and thurman will fight khan or broner next.

                  He isn't getting the fight period, he doesn't deserve it yet and it's too early for him. Looking at the body of work of all the candidates only Bradley and Khan deserves the TBE payday.

                    Stop fooling yourself. Thurman cannot beat Floyd and he knows it too, he just wants a big pay day.
                    All the naysayers were saying that Floyd was scared of Hatton, Canelo and the PacMan .... he defeated them all.
                    Show me a boxer today who have faced tougher competition than Floyd?
