I honestly think Cotto beats GGG @ MW.

Call me crazy, and gimme the usual, "are you crazy, GGG knocks him out within 6!", but I'm willing to make an account beg on this, and I'm willing to bet REAL $$$ that he beats Canelo.
Who's down??? If not real money, then some sort of prize., like a gift card or something.
I will have to see how Cotto looks vs Canelo. This will tell me how he will deal with GGG.

I haven't even heard of any of GGG's opponents except willie monroe jr. and that was because of looking at his uncles old fight with marvin hagler.
He's been in 33 professional fights and none have even been close, nor has he been knocked down in any of these.
You really think his chin hasn't been tested? 350 amateur fights, 33 professional fights--- not one knock down? He definitely has a chin. I'm not saying he's unstoppable, but he is a very powerful and durable fighter.
You haven't heard of any of his opponents... well, okay. Martin Murray is the best name on the list IMO. He was robbed against Sergio Martinez, and arguably robbed of a win against Felix Sturm. He's not bad. He's not an Andre Ward, but the flack he receives is unnecessary.
Rubio is a good name to have on his record, but obviously Rubio was gone by this point in his career. It's like Sergio Martinez vs Cotto... Martinez doesn't catch flack because he was shot.
Geale is another decent name. I'm thinking he's done with boxing now, after these two devastating losses against Golovkin and Cotto.
He's already beaten Andy Lee in the amateurs (2x if I'm not mistaken). He KO'd Lucian Bute, beat Matvey Korobov, Nikola Sjekloca, he's 1-1 vs Andre Dirrell in the amateurs (winning the most recent fight in the Olympics), he also beat Geale easily back in 2001 as well.
There's not much to say. The big names in the middleweight division want to fight him when he's hopefully older and shot--- that's just how it is. They don't want to be KO'd nor do they want a loss. It's understandable. I highly doubt there are any fighters in boxing who are strictly in it for the glory.Last edited by UNBIASED BOXING; 07-08-2015, 10:18 PM.

I am not betting a stranger on this board real money, no offense and I'm sure you are honest. I would just bet with one of the betting places. No use worrying about a bet though because Cotto won't ever fight GGG, no way, no how, just forget about it. I think Cotto hasn't got a snowball's chance in hell of betting GGG unless they let Cotto bring a gun and use it in the ring. I will be betting real money that Cotto loses to Canelo and Cotto will probably retire with all his millions if Canelo knocks him out like I think he will.

I see it coming from a mile away. Cotto's gonna wear him out with body shots, land a pin point left hook to the chin, and follow up with brutal shots.
Cotto is a monster at 160.

Cotto will outbox and outsmart Golovkin for a clear decision win. People will always say that Miguel will be knocked out etc. but they've been saying that for the longest time and here he is, still winning. Miguel has a good team now with Roach behind him-- and that will be a key factor.
