I bet this has more to do with acting like divas than with being afraid of Ward or of 168. Still, I'm man enough to admit that this was a bitch move.

Triple GGG has made a fair offer.....he is willing to meet ward right down the middle with purse and with weight.....ward can't expect a fighter who is a bigger draw to accept all wards terms......now let's see what ward has to say........ward loses 4 pounds and golovkin gains 4 pounds....seems fair to me ....I know who my money will be on........triple ggg will chop him down like a redwood tree

Ward can't draw flies. It would be a poor payday for Golovkin, so it's not really worth it.

Seems like fair deal to me, both fighters get an equal purse and move only 4 pounds in weight each.
Not like when Ward refused to fight Dawson only at 168.

Money should not be an issue.
But they're not equal in terms of marketing. What kind of numbers do you think Golovkin would've pulled in on BET vs Paul Smith? Way freaking more than the 323k Ward did. No, Golovkin is a legitimately bigger name at the current time.
Roc Nation is already losing millions on Ward with his outrageous purse, time buy and ticket comping. He doesn't bring in Mexican revenue like Chavez and he doesn't bring in UK revenue like Froch. You want Golovkin to move up and risk his current market status, then there's got to be some significant give on Ward's end.

Ward also said he had plans to move all the way to heavyweight but refused to go up even 7 pounds to fight Dawson and also Ward has offered to go down to 160lbs to fight Floyd. And these things came out of Wards mouth.
Funny how you butt hurt poster try to gang up on a man based on what his manager says, but say nothing when the actual fighter says things.

So because Floyd can't make 143lbs, he should move up to 154lbs?
So if Lomachenko can't make 122lbs, he needs to move up to 130?
So because Figueroa can't make a catchweight of 131lbs, he needs to move up to 140lbs?
See how idiotic that sounds? So Ward can't make 164lbs, he needs to move up from 168 to 175lbs? Did you think before typing that?

GGG is having trouble getting name fighters in the ring, they say.
Wouldnt fight Mora for fear of looking bad (you know thats why, Mora is hard to look good against).
Now wants 50-50 and a catchweight to fight Ward.
I really like Golovkin, I'm a fan! But his best win is.. who? Geale? Come on.
