If Lara actually wants the fight then Team GGG should push for it to get a quality fighter on his resume and do what Canelo failed to do.
What makers Lara a quality opponent at 160 though? Name Laras five best wins.

      Experience, skills, track record, etc.

      Name Laras five best wins.
      Trout
      Williams
      Angulo
      Smith
      Rodriguez

Then you have close fights with Canelo/Vanes/Molina.

Lara is Canelo's best win, right? Don't you want to see GGG vs. Canelo?

Huge difference. But riddle me this, why don't you or any other Floyd fans want to see Floyd vs Lara? Boxing, apparently to you guys, is about "hit and not get hit", "the sweet science", "its boxing not knockouts". So why not push Lara vs Floyd? Same division, same manager.
Two counter punchers is a recipe for a boring fight. That's why the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight was boring because Pacquiao tried to counter Mayweather. Nobody is interested in that fight not just Floyd fans.

Ok cool so we have established that GGG should stop calling out Froch and needs to "prove himself" at 168 first. Thanks.

Lara didn't beat Williams, so lets stop the nonsense right there. Doesn't matter what you think it was, all that matters is what the official card says, at least thats what you floyd fans have been telling us for years. So, Trout, Angulo, Smith and Rodriguez are his best wins. What exactly is so great about that and how do those wins make Lara any better than the guys GGG has fought?

Floyd fans don't care about boring fights though, they just want to see the great technical apsects of the sport. Tell us why you guys really don't want to see the great chess match you all profess to love so much?

Yup. Now why is Lara the guy to give GGG a name on his resume again?

LOL. Good day sir. I gave you a chance to have an intelligent boxing debate and this is what you come up with.

He needs to prove himself before getting a shot at the cash cow of the division, Froch.

I don't believe he'll cut it at Super Middleweight. Paul Smith might bully him around the ring. We just don't know!
I never said Lara needs to prove himself at 160 first, I'm just saying why I think the fight is a mismatch and why I believe Lara can't cut it at 160.

Golovkin fans = Lara isn't a 160 fighter, beating him proves nothing.
Golovkin fans = Canelo is ducking Golovkin, he's a 160 fighter.

Lara has had 12 fights over the 154 limit with his highest being 158.
Alvarez has had 3 fights over the 154 limit with his highest being 155.

Many fans think Lara beat Canelo.
