Wow what a great card of fights. Love these long ass UK shows with a full card of good fights & notable mfers. Nice to see Joshua get tested for the first time. Look forward to Joshua moving up & seeing Whyte vs some other guys. Didn't love the Spike stoppage, but I can't disagree with Collins outlook with what was going on & it was fun while it lasted. Nice gutty performance by Pretty Ricky Conlan. Tough L for Campbell. Nice dominate wins by Chisora & Paulie. Respect to Hearn, Sky & the UK.

Joshua is on a good path and he will learn a lot from tonight which is what he needs on the way up.
He's not ready for Haye (if haye is still good as he was when he fought wlad)

Its back to the drawing board for Jousha, this fight will benefit him though.

        I agree.

He's a guy with 15 fights, people need to keep that in mind. Haye is the worst style for him, quick, counters and power, but he's not ready for that.

To be fair to Josh also, people are saying that Whyte had a good chin because he started taking his shots better after round 1, but after round 2 Joshua got hit with a few shots that didnt phase him.

Could be he just took his first ever pro hw shot and didnt react so well. Time will tell.

Whyte needs to keep working with Banks. Maybe get to the US and join PBC or something. I think if he can get some more method to his madness he can be a part of this next era.

Definitely, that's the best lesson he could have learned.

Jousha needs to work on his jab, a guy that big should not be gettin out jabbed by smaller man
agreed on the jab. I could never find an official reach measurement on Whyte before the fight, Boxrec doesn't have it listed. It looks to me like his arms are much longer than Joshua's, he has a unique build in that respect...IDK if that is why Joshua has had an issue with him today and in the past. He is stiff and muscle bound but every once in a while you'll see him changing levels to get under shots. Not everyone o fhis size can do that. But using and avoid the jab is definitely something to work on.

unfortunately there's no way for him to slow down the hype people will lay upon him so he'll have to work extra hard because everything will be under a microscope. Selling out arenas like a champion already
