If the Stevenson Vs Kovalev isn't getting done any time soon. Then Stevenson needs to fight some other decent opponents. Fonfara was a decent match-up, but outside of that it's been a while since he faced anyone good.

Fans are so worried about which promoter or manager they like "for what reason they want to be promoter or manager fan boys is beyond me" it completely makes no sense to me. as fans we are now seeing promoters and managers having to compete with one another and we are finally getting real fights. i dont know it just makes me think less of posters on this site when they let their bias get in the way. i understand liking fighters or hating fighters and having fun with it but when u start hating and calling certain fighters duckers just because of a certain manager or promoter and defending another for doing the same exact thing for the same reason there is something wrong

The WBC forced the purse bid twice already, and Kovalev backed out both times. Do they really think it would go differently a third time?

Otherwise why would you crap all over Stevenson when he turned down the fight due to money and network issues yet never utter a peep now that Kovalev is doing the same thing?
