Comments Thread For: Charles Martin Inks Agreement With Al Haymon

krikya360.com has been advised that undefeated heavyweight contender Charles Martin (21-0-1, 19KOs) is the latest fighter to sign on with powerful manager/adviser Al Haymon.

Martin, ranked at #4 by the IBF and #2 by the WBO, is closing in on a shot at heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko. In fact, Martin was under consideration to fight Klitschko earlier this year before a deal with Bryant Jennings was finalized for April 25. Martin appeared on the undercard of that MSG show, securing his eleventh consecutive stoppage win with a one round drubbing of Tom Dallas.

He's a tall, limited southpaw who probably wouldn't test Wladimir Klitschko at all.

But he's also a potential purse bid, so maybe he can make things interesting.
