krikya360.com has been advised that a deal has been reached for a final IBF eliminator between welterweights Diego Chaves (23-2-1, 19KOs) and Devon Alexander (26-3, 14KOs). The two camps were able to avoid a purse bid, for a fight that will see the winner get a crack at current IBF champion Kell Brook.
Chaves has been inactive since a December twelve round split draw with former two-division world champion Timothy Bradley. The Argentine boxer had lost by disqualification to Brandon Rios a few months earlier. Rios is now the likely opponent for Brook on September 12th in London.
