He's entertaining enough for those that enjoy his amateurish, point scoring style. There's no denying his talent though and his resume and accomplishments will be tough for anyone currently fighting to beat.

But to say he fought the best, sorry but to fight the best you need to do it in their prime, and May fought a bunch of guys out of their prime.
In my opinion to rate him as "TBE" or a top10 ATG, he should need to go divisions up, a long time ago, and not fight the Ortiz-Gerrero-Maidana level opponents.
He should had challenged himself with bigger or stronger guys and not just stay confortable in WW(not a bad thing though).
I insist great fighter, but that's it.

Best business man in the history of boxing....so much so that if he is not floored or severely hurt in a round, he automatically is given the round by judges - because an L on Floyd's resume will cost the sport of boxing tens of millions of dollars.

I gave Mayweather credit for being the best of his generation and voted for him being the best based on his accomplishments in his amazing undefeated 48 fight career. However as Mayweather likes to say, at this particular time I don't think he is pound for pound the best fighter in the world. He is 38 and past prime. I rate GGG, Gonzalez and Rigo as better fighters than Mayweather pound for pound today.

He is good, even great, but not the best.
Pacquiao beat him IMO and is better.
Pacquiao fights. No duck then hug, headlocks, push the face and head, running, no resorting to psychological warfare, trying to get all the advantages like Floyd admitted he always does, (glove choice, ring-size, even groin protector use.) Floyd has also admitted to doing illegal things like the vampire-facial.
He has great reflexes, and speed. But how great are those attributes really without the duck and hug, push the face/head, headlock and run plus the other advantages and cheats above?

I think its an open and shut case at this point who the best fighter of this generation is.
