Comments Thread For: Arum: Bradley Capable of Beating Golovkin, at 154

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum likes the chances of former two division world champion Timothy Bradley in a dangerous fight with IBO/WBA 160-pound champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin.

Bradley is ready, willing and able to fight Golovkin. First, Bradley must beat undefeated Jessie Vargas on Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Arum says a fight between Bradley and Golovkin would NOT take place at 160-pounds. Bradley and Golovkin would have to meet halfway at the junior middleweight limit of 154-pounds. If the fight happens at 154, Arum is confident that Bradley has a shot to win.

They need to build hype for Bradley's fight which no one cares about.

As if Golovkin is going to come down to 154 for Bradley

if ruslan concussed bradley badly, GGG would literally knock the soul out of him.

Does anybody actually believe GGG could make that weight and be competitive ?

Bradley is irrelevant, he's got nobody to fight because he's with TR.

Yea sure Arum. I love Bradley as a fighter and his heart and desire. He's what I love about boxing. Willing to take on anyone at anytime and truly mean it. He may not be the most gifted boxer (even though he has tons of skill and good speed) and he may have flaws but dude makes up for it in hard work, desire to be the best and he has tons of heart. Plus the dude has character for miles. I love watching him fight.

With that being said GGG would hurt him bad and could give him a beating that would last way past their fight if they fought.

But dang that Bradley has major balls and heart to want that fight.
