    Negotiations are ongoing for a September fight between Lucas Matthysse (37-3, 34KOs) of Argentina and Viktor Postol (27-0, 11KOs) of Ukraine. The fight will have the vacant junior welterweight title of the World Boxing Council (WBC) at stake.

    The WBC belt was dropped by Danny Garcia, who has not defended the title since early 2014 and his last two fights took place at a catch-weight above the 140-pound limit. His next fight, against Paulie Malignaggi in August, will take place at the full welterweight limit of 147-pounds.

    Keep this fight in the US and winner can have a showcase fight in their home country afterwards.

                  I think the Luna Park venue in Buenos Aires might be indoors?

                  Anyway, title aside, this is not really the fight I want to see Matthysse in at this stage of his career. He's 33 in September.

                  Imo De La Hoya should've pushed the WBO for the Crawford fight, the WBO President was keen on the bout. We probably never see it now, or it'll be when Matthysse is shot to suit Arum.
