Yeah, and what's funny is I think it's working a bit.

To be frank, I'm su****ious that this is part of some overall plan to put pressure on Mayweather to fight Golovkin. De La Hoya is making noise about the fight, and you now have a Jr. Welterweight calling Golovkin out.

I don't think Bradley will step in the ring with Golovkin but it'll serve the purpose of getting people to question why Floyd is not showing the same eagerness.

Hadn't considered this but seems plausible.

Everyone should laugh, because it's an awful mismatch.

I used to think ggg was a beast and he's been marketed as such but look who he has said he will fight as of late:

- Oscar who's been retired for 7 years
- Floyd a welterweight at the tail end of his career And who rehydrates to a mere 150 pounds
- Bradley a pillow punching welterweight

Bob Arum is intrigued by the idea Timothy Bradley floated recently about moving up to middleweight to challenge Gennady Golovkin.

That shouldn’t surprise anyone, since Arum’s company, Top Rank Inc., promotes Bradley (31-1-1, 12 KOs, 1 NC) and would make money off that fight. Bradley has never fought above the welterweight limit of 147 pounds, but that didn’t stop Arum from mentioning a potential Bradley-Golovkin clash during a press conference Thursday to promote Bradley’s WBO welterweight title fight against Jessie Vargas (23-0, 9 KOs) on Saturday night at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. it is actually a little weird how much attention golovkin has been getting lately. mayweather, de la hoya and arum are three of the most powerful men in boxing and they can't keep golovkin's name out of their mouths lately. maybe they would like to sign him

Right now GGG is the most talked about fighter in the world. Bradley said he would fight GGG in a second at 160 with no catch weight. GGG is one of those old school fighters that comes along about every 20 years. Not only is GGG an excellent boxer he has huge power with both hands and cuts the ring off better than anybody today. He uses a technique called evasive aggression which was perfected by fighters like Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, Roberto Duran. Bradley is in way over his head, as would be Cotto or Canelo or Lemieux, who are all avoiding GGG.

GGG is a beast. GGG has earned the right to fight anybody he wants too. Cotto is avoiding him. Oscar says Canelo is not ready for GGG. Lemieux wants to fight his mandatory first. (That's a first). GGG wants the exposure and if Oscar, or Floyd, or Bradley want to commit suicide. So be it.
