The thing is, despite the clamour from hardcore fans, GGG is little known by casuals. Unless the undercard was stacked with recognisable names, this fight would not sell out Wembley Stadium.

but it could still happen at any other smaller venue of froch's choosing, its not like GGG only wants it at wembley.
One more war Froch, live by the sword die by the sword!
FFS, it's his job, he's not fighting for the freedom of his people. I hate it when people dramatize boxing to a comic book narrative level. Let's not forget, Carl really looked on the decline in the 2nd Kessler fight and first Groves match. Those are just 2 and 3 fights ago. Now there's reports that he's seriously unmotivated. I wouldn't blame Carl if he passes. He's at the end of his career with nothing to prove, why put himself through the hell Golovkin will bring?
That said, I'd absolutely love to see this fight and I think Froch stops him. Could easily go either way though.

Yes it would, GGG has been brought along very well by HBO and in the UK, Sky would put some rather considerable financial muscle into promoting the fight, plus if it gets marketed as a last hurrah for Froch, it would sell a lot. It doesn't necessarily have to do 80, 000 but it can do 50k and that would still be a HUGE financial gain. Not to mention the untold millions in PPV.

Nobody in the UK has a clue who Golovkin is. The fight would still sell due to Froch but i think Froch-DeGale would do better numbers.
I hope it happens though, Froch-GGG is the best fight than can be made in boxing.

Boxing fans in the UK know and with Sky promoting it, a lot of people tuning into the countries biggest sports network would know by the end of the promotional tour. But yeah, Froch v DeGale probably sells more, then again, that's not saying Froch v GGG won't sell, it's just that Chunky has seen a surge in popularity.
He called out froch again today, I guess there is still a little hope left after all.
So what do you guys think, is there any chance this fight will happen?
so?....Froch is on the back end of his career...one foot outta the door!!...SOG said he'll fight Froch in Wembley as well...wtf is the big deal?!?
waiting for him to call out Ward...but that will NEVER happen!!....as far as your sig, wasn't Ward injured and having promotional problems then?...so stop reaching and be REAL...you lil d*ck riding ass dudes have no integrity whatsoever!!...smh
