Weigh in on fight day. Who benefits by 24 hrs to rehydrate? Not the athletes, I've seen same day weigh in fights and they just train for it. 24 hrs later somebody has a 20 lb weight advantage, feathers fighting at welter. Walter almost decapitated Nonito, he won't decapitate Pedraza based on size alone.

Walters is one of my favourites but I gotta be fair. This isn't "ducking". It only would be ducking if Walters would still make 126 but now they are in two different weight classes. And Lomachenko already on his second fight and after that immediately on the third proved that he doesn't afraid of challenges. He only has 5 fights and two of them was against almost elite competition. I don't say that give him the pass to cherry pick his next 3-4 opponents because he is a world champion now but give the kid a break... A fighter with 5 fights shouldn't demanded to move up in weigh already.
With that being said: if Walters would somehow manage to come back in 126 and Loma still won't want to fight him then it will be a "ducking".

Walters would fight at WW, Lomachenko at JWW, Rios at MW, Canelo at SHW, Floyd stays, Rigo stays, Pac stays, JMM stays, ....it could be fun

Problem solved.
The fight is not possible only if they make the decision that Lomachenko wont fight anyone bigger then himself. And if thats the case, everyone should remove Loma from any p4p consideration.
I don't think Lomachenko is in any P4P consideration.

Whenever fans see their favorite fighter at any disadvantage, they become weight, gloves, socks, business, etc. warriors. Reminds me of Cotto fans: GGG, you make weight fine but move up to 168 please! Lomachenko fans just joined them.
Very disappointing. I thought more of Lomachenko but I guess Salido really is his daddy. He traumatized the poor guy.
