You do know it was HBO who told Haymon to **** off right? Not the other way around. GGG's fighters don't get any "he can't fight him because of politics" when it was HBO who told Haymon to leave. If they limited who their fighters get to face, even if for what I thought was a valid reason, the consequences are limiting your fighters options. GGG doesn't just get a pass for that, sorry.

Also, the fighters demanded those fights happen. These weren't big name fighters, they were CHALLENGES, GGG doesn't seem to be demanding a fight with anyone except smaller fighters. I hate Broner but he moved up two weightclasses because he thought he could win he had that confidence in himself. It'd be nice to see that from GGG, at 32 he doesn't have it in him as a person or he would have shown it by now.

What is this crap about moving up? How many times did Ward move up? Or Hagler? How old was Hopkins when he moved up? Cotto moved up cause he couldnt make weight, or was chased out by superior fighters and found some invalids up north.

Btw Ggg accepted fights at 168 vs Froch, Ward, Chavez.

GGG is making headlines lately. Froch doesn't want it, ward doesn't want it below 168, Floyd doesn't want it, Lara doesn't want it, Cotto doesn't want it. Yet all of these guys talk about it like they could get the job done. Enough talk, sign of he damn papers and hop in the ring. If you're scared, just say you're scared.

Most GGG fans want to see him fight better guys. 20 KOs in a row while dominating guys including a handful of Top 10s is hardly "nothing."

i just don't think he'd be in a better position at super middle than he is at middle. he has one legacy fight there, andre ward, which will hopefully still be on the table one year from now, and apart from that it's no different to his current situation (except that his opponents would be bigger than him). my hope for golovkin is four more fights at middleweight, which will hopefully include a couple of unifications, preferably one of them being with cotto or alvarez, and then to move up to super middleweight permanently (i.e. gain 8 lbs of muscle) and challenge ward. but that's subject to change depending on developments in the two divisions (e.g. if ward moves to 175 lbs)

In the near future, I think he comes into SMW fights significantly less than the 168 limit. The only thing moving up now does is test him a little more because he'll consistently be at a weight disadvantage.

Would you object to a stay busy fight if there was a signed guarantee from the winner of Cotto/Canelo to fight GGG next? Assuming the WBC contract could be enforced. Maybe the winner has to pay Glolovkin 90% of their winning purse if they don't fight him within 5 months?

I never GGG wasn't fighting on HBO. I said HBO said they aren't allowing Haymon fighters. You see this as a good thing for GGG proves I should longer keep this conversation going.

HBO didn't say they would not allow Haymon fighters, they said they are open to working with Haymon if the circumstances are right (they were basically saying we will work with them for certain fights but not overpay for their fighters on our network for crap fights).

At this point he shouldn't have to say another word. He's willing. Without Froch, he's the best possible opponent. At least try to make the fight. If it can't happen because HBO or Lara's side won't make it, fine. At least Golovkin tried, and that's all people can ask.

It's that people want to make so many excuses to not even try, including Golovkin's team themselves, that should make people angry. At least try. Golovin became a name because he always took the best fight available. With Monroe he didn't, and if he doesn't contact Lara's side now then he won't be fighting the best possible name now. People should complain.
