Comments Thread For: Team Mayweather: Golovkin Never Beat a Top Opponent

WBA/WBC/WBO welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is already trading shots with middleweight king Gennady Golovkin. The Mayweather camp issued a statement telling TMZ Sports the guy's just running his mouth for a payday -- and he's way out of his league.

Golovkin -- who's knocked out his last 20 opponents -- told us Mayweather would be his "dream fight" and is 100% certain he'd win if they ever got in the ring together.

Uh oh, he's starting to trash Golovkin. Looks like we're getting Mayweather vs Cotto in September.

Mayweather - Golovkin in Sept!!!!! The hype has started on TMZ!!! Floyd said that many people would be surprised with who he chooses as an opponent.

If anyone takes this post seriously.... they should immediately visit their nearest mental health specialist.

Will Mayweather claim to be the best at 160 if he beats Cotto?

Once again great promotion by K2 getting him on TMZ Sports

He did not randomly bring up Mayweather, I'm sure he was asked about that fight.
