This is bull****. Why they need to marinate this fight? Each guy may decline, or change another weight, or change promoter, or simply lose. This fight must be made now when all two are on top.

Walters probably enjoyed too much curry goat and oxtail after the Nonito win plus he said he's been at featherweight since 16 so he's clearly just outgrown the division.

Shame if it don't happen.

Walters needs a huge weight advantage to win fights... that's what it seems like to me...

If Walters moved up in weight to like 140...he'd be nothing special... He already can't make 126...wouldn't be shocked if he struggles to make 130... The thing in Walters favor is that he can milk the 130-135 divisions for a while...they are historically at their weakest...interesting fight with Gamboa though could be made...

People are mad and they should be, but Walters is the one that couldn't make weight. Let Lomachenko fight two more times this year and in the mean time Walters could try to capture a belt at 130 (it's going to be difficult). If they both keep winning they'll eventually fight at 130. At 130 you have the Takashi's, Pedraza (who looked amazing, but is signed to Haymon, not sure, which will prevent fights against Walters and Loma from happening), Martinez, Salido, Vargas, and Gamboa has expressed interest in coming back to 130 (hopefully he gets a fight against Fortuna and is successful, I think he would be, unless the inactivity plays a factor). Idk how long Loma wants to stay at 126, but they should let him finish the year with two more fights at this weight; then make the jump sometime next year. It's not that bad once you think about it, 130 is actually a better division than 126 imo.

If Walters can't make the weight what do you want Top Rank to do? It still could be made unless either fighter goes on the decline, which both seem like the real deal so we shall see.

This was his first time being over weight - his 1st time - where do you get the " he needs a huge weight advantage to win" from?? Everything you stated is called speculation and that doesn't hold up in a court of law - leave it alone, I could see if he was a serial overweight fighter - meaning (Brandon Rios / Joan Guzman / Costillo ) these guys barely made weight in their original weight classes - Walters is a beast - in my eyes he is very beatable, but still a beast for his division
