Who ever puts up the most money should get the fight period. Why limit your audience to HBO when you can fight on NBC or CBS and build an even larger fan base. Do they think they will lose?

What will they do if the WBA or IBF titles have to go to a purse bid? Beterbiev and Fonfara are in line for those titles too. Let Kovavlev fight some more cans and blown op middle weights if he wants but let the other guys that are willing to fight each other hold the other titles.

Stevenson is the Lineal champ. Kovavlev got his titles from Hopkins (who won it from Cloud), Shumenov (who won a split decision against Campillo). Both those guys were stopped buy Beterbiev.

How will you guys react if they walk away from a Beterbiev or Fonfara purse bid? Will he have to vacate the title eventually. If Stevenson faces Chilemba next them both Beterbiev and Fonfara move into the top 3 in the WBO rankings. He has to face 1 of those guys eventually or vacate period.

Personally I wanted Kovalev to sign with Haymon over HBO, Haymon has LHW on lockdown. But he opted with HBO because of their financial backing. Regardless, what Duva said is true - PBC fighters can fight Kovalev on HBO.

At light heavyweight Kovalev is the A side - his popularity confirms this, so the other light heavyweights can adjust to Sergey and HBO.

Some of the best like Gvozdyk, Shabranskyy, Salamov, Bivol, Chilemba, Pascal and Kovalev are not with Haymon.

All 3 of those guys are ranked in the top 3 for those belts. It's a simple question. What will he do if those titles go to a purse bid?

Ward is not moving up this year, DeGeale has not even mentioned him?
Stevenson, wants the fight, Beterbiev wants the fight, and I'm pretty sure Fonfara will fight him.

You would rather have him face a Middleweight than 1 of those guys? He already fought 2 of them (Pascal, and Hopkins was a Middle weight). Fonfara got a payday while he waited for his title shot, Beterbiev took a fight to stay busy, and Stevenson was waiting to see what would happen if the fight went to a purse bid. He even offered to fight the guy Kovalev is facing next in his last fight (the article was on this site) to speed up a unification fight.

If he is not willing to fight those guys he should just vacate the titles so the fans can get a tournament to unify the belts while he fights who ever he thinks he can get.

Best case scenerio who will Kovalev fight after his next fight? Duva talked about a rematch with Pascal .
