Comments Thread For: Carl Froch: Khan Not Good Enough To Beat Mayweather

Former world champion Carl Froch and Amir Khan has traded their share of words in the past. But Froch says he's not trying to take a dig at Khan by saying the Bolton fighter is not capable of beating WBC/WBO/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Khan is under serious consideration to face Mayweather on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Froch, who is still undecided on his own professional future, gives Khan absolutely no shot to win - and feels confident about that position when reviewing Khan's record.

Peterson never had Khan on the floor but other than that Froch is right.

          froch is right ...

but just think of all the new fans Floyd would get if this fight went ahead

khan looked terrible last time out , fights not gonna sell until he gets a decent win or wins under his belt

hate to say it but haymon is doing khan no favours his career is going backwards

Yup, just like Froch isn't good enough to beat Ward.

he can beat mayweather but i dont know if he can do it with hunter, they need to make a few changes or khan needs to commit to him 100 per cent, was a mess aganst algeiri tactics and style all over the place

Froch said Peterson had Khan down.

Maidana lost 3 times and fought Jr, and he was dropped by Khan, so what does it matter really. Pacquiao had lost 5 times and Froch went to sit ringside to watch. Froch is just having some thinly veiled digs. I doubt it's Khan who gets the fight but Junior has to fight someone, losses or no losses.
