Carl Froch is backing Kell Brook to beat Amir Khan if they meet after the Sheffield man retained his IBF title. The Sheffield star retained his IBF welterweight title by stopping Frankie Gavin in six rounds at the O2 on Saturday night.

Brook has set his sights on more big fights and called out Khan straight after the fight and even though promoter Eddie Hearn said it was unlikely to take place, Froch not only thinks Brook would win, but wants him to keep the pressure on his British rival.

Not really..... He's a good fighter but beating Gavin, JOJO Dan (?) and Porter does not make you elite! Porter is a great win but never really looked like he would ever stop Porter. Also beating Rio would not make him Elite.
Someone like Thurman or Bradley would be a show how serious he is and world class fighter. they are 50/50 fights. Forget Khans he not worth it
