Lol... How is this a title fight? Didn't the WBA repeatedly say they're getting rid of interim belts? Looks like Shumenov has the WBA in his pockets once again and a chance for BJ, although slim, to pick up some sort of belt as I knew he'd never fight Huck as he'd get destroyed. Two past it, never was fighting for a belt. Yikes.

This fight is more than a joke. BJ Flores did absolutely nothing to get even a top 15 ranking. He beat Kevin Engel, a LHW club fighter, and a guy that got beat by Engel and some other bum, that has already been stopped eight times in his career. Shumenov makes exactly one fight at CW against a unknown journeyman and gets straight to #1. Sanctioning bodies at their worst again!
