You know what there is a thing called friendship and loyalty right. Do you fathom the amount of money Floyd Mayweather has? I don't know 500 million? 50 cents looks like a good friend who was looking out for him especially when he was in jail. You tell me Floyd can't give him a loan? Crap even give him the money (of course depending how much but a few million is chicken feed for Floyd)? I just don't understand why Americans love to see one man get more and more and more and more while others go bankrupt. In my relative example if I had a friend whose business went down and I had the amount to help him I would. You know friendship, integrity, and help. These qualities define the content and character of a man. No wonder the US is one of the most unequal places monetary wise in the world. Good lord give me a break.

Did he actually promote any shows by himself? I thought he just piggybagged on with bigger promoters seemingly lessening his expenses/risk. I'd assume worse case he'd be breakeven-ish, although I suppose the 100k lower range of his debts would qualify as breakeven-ish. I'd assume he ended on a successful note with the huge Alvarez vs Kirkland fight & probably ate up some debt.

Probably shouldn't have made the move once w/e concept he had with Mayweather didn't come together, but you live & learn. 50 ain't got too many L's so he could use some.

His initial reasoning was sound, he was hoping to piggy-back off Mayweathers name/contacts/influence.

Then he tried to do the dirty when Mayweather was in jail, most likely in an attempt to force the Pacquiao fight, make a pile of money, and use it to promote his fledgling company.

But after he burnt his bridges with Mayweather, 50 became just another boxing try-hard with no stable/contacts/influence.

Obviously 50 should have canned SMS Promotions when Mayweather got rid of him..... but he would have lost a lot of face by doing that, so he stuck it out, hoping that his guys would come good..... but they all lost, all of them.

50 shot himself in the foot because of his own under-handed dealings and greed, so it serves him right. Nobody deserves to be successful after behaving the way he did.

A lot of people have stated that 50-cent is a low-life snake who cannot be trusted..... and they were saying that long before he got involved with Mayweather.

I don't think 50 Cent realized the only way for this too work and actually make money is too let his fighters fight. It doesn't help when his biggest fighters only fight once a year. Gamboa, Kirkland and Dirrell are always on layoffs and when they do fight it's a big fight which is good for us but bad for the fighters since I don't think Kirkland or Gamboa were ready for Canelo and Crawford.

All his fighters were on long layoffs because he couldn't secure them fights. 50 burned a lot of bridges before he even got his own fight card. His fighters complained about being inactive and getting weak purses. 50 was in over his head from day one and only got those fighters to sign with him because they thought Floyd was going to be involved.

Yup and not to mention tried to go behind haymons back and steal away floyd. It all backfired in his face. TMZ got the letter 50 wrote floyd in prison bad mouthing Haymon with his plan and 50 told Floyd to destroy the letter. 50 is grimey and I have no sympathy for that snake. He got into the rap game by starting beefs with all the top dogs but that method don't work in boxing politics.
