Comments Thread For: Amir Khan Not Focused on Outdoing Manny Pacquiao

British superstar Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs) is less than a week away from his showdown with former WBO junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri.

Algieri returns from a November battering at the hands of eight division king Manny Pacquiao. He went down six times in the contest but managed to last until the final bell in one-sided pay-per-view main event from Macau, China.

Khan is coming off the back of a dominating performance over former two-division champion Devon Alexander.

In whatever fashion Khan beats Algieri it won't stop Mayweather from swerving the Khan fight yet again.

What Floyd does is to take away your best opponent. All this rubbish about work rate, explosion and whatever any ******s likes to say means nothing. Mayweather will take away the jab, Khan doesnt go very far away when he moves and is very predictable so what will Khan do? I dont mind watching this fight, I just want the ****** to be blasted once and for all but I would rather see him fighting Keith Thurman, Matthysse or Brook than Mayweather.

Like Khan said last week he's not going to chase Mayweather like before ...the idiot is going to now stalk him .This fool can not stop talking about Floyd Mayweather and then chooses to fight Chris Algieri an opponent that was battered by pac man and has a record of hitting the canvas NINE times in TWO fights having NEVER fought at the full welterweight limit .
A MIR CON you are an absolute disgrace having lied to EVERYONE by saying you only want to fight the best......a complete fraud !

He won't risk fighting anybody that can chin check him, which result in getting his name removed from the lottery.

Mayweather would be smart to end his career v Khan. He can end his career and his ko drought in one night. I'd love to see him break Khan's jaw.

This is Khan's best chance for a stoppage since...

                    Errr Zab Judah in 2011.

Khan loves those 'high risk / high reward' fights lol.
