Wow Hero, you trolled me like a b1tch..........
Originally posted by HeroBando View PostYou were using this totally unrelated fight to take another swipe at Pac. As I said, clockwork. And then you complain I'm bringing in unrelated guys.
But Ward is certainly more relevant to this thread than Guerrero. And he just passed up an opportunity for a much more meaningful fight cause he was unwilling to move up to his second weightclass. Props to him for not doing a cw, but what do you think hurts Dawson more, 168 or 172?
I still haven't got one straight answer from you.Originally posted by HeroBando View PostHow do you go from "examples of fighters moving up", to "I guess Pacquiao is a pus5y.."? What was PWill for asking for a worse cw, answer still pending. But I'm sure you'll be proudly giving these examples in all kinds of unrelated threads.
I never said Ward called him out, but he could have had a very meaningful (and his toughest) fight at 175, and took the much less meaningful option at 168, where his opponent will likely be weight compromised. That's what unwillingness to go up in weight will get you. Or you get Barker and Macklin instead of Ward and Kessler for Martinez.
Originally posted by HeroBando View PostI don't know he'll be weak, but based on what I've seen or been told (Cotto Pac in particular), I'd say the odds are against him. Seems unnecessary, Ward would gain much more at 175.
Remember Mosley offering to drop to 142(?) for Pac? Remember Byrd going down to 175? When you're desperate for a big fight or out of options, you'll say, even believe, a lot of things. But we'll see soon enough.
In that video Phenom posted yesterday, Shaw was saying they wanted a cw but were shut down by Team Ward. Hunter: "Chad, speak up, you're not a robot, you're not a slave (wtf?!), speak up Chad..."

At 175 Dawson woulda been Ward's career best win.
Originally posted by HeroBando View PostDawson didn't lose to Johnson, cmon. He lost 5 rounds MAX, the reason he gave him a rematch is cause he looked worse than expected and faded late. But Johnson is no joke, 3 years later he made it just as close against Froch.
Who has Ward fought that's closest to Dawson? Allan Green?? How much of that 7lbs he has to drop will be chin and heart?Originally posted by HeroBando View PostGlen protested the Bute loss, that's how much that's worth. And when have you seen him with facial damage?
Johnson won at most one round more against Dawson than vs Froch, when younger and at his optimal weight. It seemed closer cause he was coming on strong late, while fading against Froch. But what would you expect when having to drop 7lbs at 40.
Wow Hero, you trolled me like a b1tch.
Another casual fan exposed..... or should I say, pacstain exposed.
We get it..... you love Manny, and you hate Mayweather..... and the current white knight GGG can EASILY make 154, and would EASILY KTFO Mayweather.
We get it ^^

Why not push for it.? Floyd wants to be TBE. Yet he knows hes not, and nobody thinks he is.
Why not fight GGG? Will beating GGG at 160 make Floyd TBE? Don't know. Fight him then we can talk!

It appears that you are flip-flopping, because it suits your agenda.
Just saying.....

I object to giving Mayweather any credit for beating a drained opponent.
I object to listening to the silly fanboy dribble that will accompany the buildup to that fight.
And I object to Mayweather charging $100 to fight a weightdrained opponent.
You are dreaming if you think I would give Floyd much credit for that win.
The difference between you and me is that you acknowledge the weight issue for Dawson, but seem to be ignoring it when it comes to Golovkin.
The difference between you and me is that I put the sport first, ahead of my current favorite fighter..... I do not have a convenient set of double-standards that I apply when it favors "my guy".
I keep it real, if my guy is behaving like a b1tch, I will say so, because I am a genuine boxing fan who puts the sport first...... you will never be able to catch me contradicting myself, like I just caught you contradicting yourself.
The ranked - stylistically difficult - natural JMW Lara, would be a better scalp at 154 than the unranked - typical tough guy - drained JMW Golovkin.
You are dreaming if you think I would give Floyd much credit for that win.
I cant stand catchweights, and I am not interested in seeing Mayweather lame his way to a middleweight title..... but I would even prefer Cotto at a catchweight than GGG at 154..... because Cotto has a good chance of making 156-158 comfortably, whereas GGG has little/no chance of making 154 without being significantly affected.
Keep it real man, or I will catch you flip-flopping again

Who cares about anything you just said.
If a welter is too small to fight a MW - duh - then he should fight a welter.
If a middleweight is too big to fight a welter - duh - then he can fight a MW.
Golovkin/Mayweather should not even be mentioned, it is ridiculous..... not unless Mayweather is prepared to jump to 160, and I highly doubt that.
The world is scraping the bottom of the barrel to find a white knight.
Funny as shht !
That white knight would have to cut his leg off to make 154, and one-legged white knights aint so tough lol
Seriously, if you knew the sport, and you really hate Mayweather as much as you indicate, you should be on the Lara bandwagon.
Lara > Golovkin at 154.
Lara is a more challenging opponent for Mayweather at 154 than Golovkin, and Lara would also beat Golovkin head-to-head at 154.
Waits for the Red-K from the Golovtards
