The look on the faces of his countrymen during the fight tells the whole story. He lost - get over it - hurting the sport

He was using one arm from the 5th in and still almost won, I dont see mayweather winning a rematch against a healthy 2 armed pacquiao

... I had no favorite in this fight (i.e. meaning that I was somehow leaning towards the "underdog")... After the fight I thought that the judges could have easily scored it 7-5 in favor of Floyd Mayweather... They've scored it wider...
          ... That's it.

Prior to this bout Pac's only 2 losses in the past 10yrs came via KO and robbery to Bradley. During the replay I scored the fight 7-5 for Floyd but I can see why Pac may have felt he won when comparing it to his last lost via brutal KO. Pac was actually rocked in that fight with some solid punches and KO'd whereas not once was he hurt or even hit solidly enough to buckle or make him retreat against Floyd. Maybe he feels that Floyd was getting more credit than he deserved for his one and done pitty pat punches and they shouldn't have been scored to the extent that they were. Pac is an aggressive action fighter who throws punches to hurt you rather than touching you to rack up points ala Mayweather.

Equate it to a street fight. If I land the harder blows and actually hurt my opponent on a few occasions while he dances around and throws touch scoring punches that have no effect on me, I'd see that as a win for me. This isn't the way it works in boxing though and they score round by round although I felt Floyd was getting rounds scored for him where he did nothing more than be elusive.

Manny needed the rematch. The money from the first (close) fight puts him back on track and caught up with his bills. And once he throws out the pre made excuse of the shoulder injury he's guaranteed a second fight and that money sets him up for life (again).

But guess what ... It wasn't even close. All these things he's saying were pre-prepared things for selling a second fight he never considered the option he might get completely out classed and he did. He really needs that rematch money.

Now he's in the Philippines stirring up controversy and even has some of his own people believing him out of guilt because as he put it "if you go against me you aren't a real pinoy" but the phillipino people are enough to make the decision on wether or not there will be a rematch they get the fight for free...
It's the American casuals with deep pockets that decide and so far the consensus is Floyd won a boring fight but he won clear and they WON'T PAY AGAIN...
                Manny is in panic mode.
I agree 100% he pulled the ''if you go against me, you arent a real pinoy'' and now his fans are believing him out of guilt

Is it really just denial or is he truly delusional? It must be killing him that he clearly lost to the fighter he hates the most and knowing he is truly #2 of this generation. How anyone can believe they won a fight when they landed 18% of their punches (~80 in the whole fight) is absurd to me. What amazes me is he did not make this big of an issue when Bradley got the decision over him, a fight Pac actually won in reality lol. He just accepted it as boxing and moved on. He clearly, unequivocally lost to Floyd and he can't accept it and is whining and whining and making excuses. Even during the handwrapping joke coach Roach was already trying to line up excuses. Insults to the sport, Pac, Roach and Arum. That is all they are. By the way Roach is 0-3 this year because he sucks and has no clue how to teach defense or adjustments to his fighters. They fight ONE way and if that one way isn't working, they lose.

Also if anyone believes that shoulder BS would change anything you are also delusional. Just understand something, it didnt even look like Floyd went into high gear the whole fight. He was fighting calm and relaxed. All a 2nd fight would show is Pac losing an even wider decision or maybe getting clipped. That is it. Leave it alone and move on everyone. I know it is hard to swallow because all you Pac fans worship him like a god and hate Floyd SO much but accept reality. Floyd is the P4P best/#1 and the BEST fighter of this generation. Period.

No, Pacquiao did win. There's a video showing that he was the one who landed the most shots, as well as the overall hardest ones.

Floyd is a gentleman and even though he won a controversial decision, he will give Pac the rematch, as Floyd is a man of honour. Controversial in that Pac was injured as well as how the fight was scored.

Floyd didnt land that many punches as compubox implies. And just because you do land more punches it is not evidence you won a fight, he may have landed half of those punches in one round, so that only counts as one round won. But thats neither here nor there, because we know compubox scores Floyds jabs that didnt land as they were either blocked or really fell short.
