That's hyperbole. Mayweather didn't outbox anybody.

Where he could have used inside fighting, he elected instead to clinch and hold. Where he could have used angles, he decided to use distance to disengage. Yes, an argument could be made that technically he "outboxed" Pacquiao. But any objective viewer could see clear as day that neither guy did very much to each other.

I chuckle at the Mayweather fans who talk about him landing brain deadening punches on Pacquiao. Mayweather's punches are of the soft variety, and 2-3 are medium hard, but nothing is very hard.
Its really not that hard in this case.

Mayweather landed the better, cleaner punches a majority of the rounds.

He was alot more effective in his output a majority of the rounds.

He displayed better defense a majority of the rounds.

He controlled the pace of the fight a majority of the rounds.

There is no scoring criteria that #48 won a majority of the rounds.

The thing that people are missing is that Manny is complaining that his hurt shoulder is the reason why he didn't perform well but yet he says he think he won by 2 points. This guy is clearly devastated about the way he lost.

Paquiao and his fans are delusional , no respected trainer or boxer has come forward saying they thought paquiao won, well*except holyfield but he has been delusional for more than a decade .the consensus among trainers/boxers around the world except asia and countries with no boxing tradition is that mayweather won 9 rounds to 3 and it wasn't even competitive .like my mexican friends would say "tienes que ver mas box"

When you replay the fight you are more likely to be subjective because of all the talk that's going on around.
On Sunday morning there were very few people saying that Pacquiao won the fight.
Most of my friends wanted Pacquiao to win but none of them said anything about a robbery on Sunday morning.
We were all puzzled at how little Pacquiao did in the fight.
Now 10 days later, after hearing all the stories, their minds are starting to change about how the fight went.

You can not perform well or up to your normal level and still win, although that Is not the case In this fight IMO although this wasn't In no way shape or form a dominant win for Mayweather.

I've never, ever, seen people with such a lack of boxing knowledge.

Now lets get this out of the ****ing way for starters - you do not win a fight by landing 81 punches when the other guys lands double that. Floyd landed 81 power shots alone!

You also, for you fools on here that think Manny had the 'better' shots win by landing maybe 3 good shots.

Floyd dominated, and did so with the least amount of effort he has done in any of his PPV bouts. The jab kept Manny thinking, as soon as he went to fire the left, Floyd hit him clean with the straight right. The STANDARD COUNTER TO A SOUTHPAW.

When ever Manny came in close, he either tied him up on occasion, or caught him with a check-left to bring himself out and reclaim centre ground. He backed Manny up at the start of rounds, and made Manny look like he quite frankly was a hype job - not 'fighter of the decade'.

If you give that fight to Manny you need to just stop, maybe think about a different stop. I've watched it 7 times now; I either give it 118-110 Floyd, or, if I give all the close rounds to Manny, 116-112 Floyd. In no way did Manny win.

His footwork made him formidable, not his right hand. His footwork in that fight was leagues behind Floyd's - he will never win.

Christ, its like half of you on here learnt boxing from the Rocky films.
