Comments Thread For: Breaking Down Kellerman's Speech on Manny Pacquiao

By Lyle Fitzsimmons - I know we’ve all been thinking it, but it’s high time someone said it out loud.

    Thank god for Max Kellerman.

Here I was thinking that I’d gotten through 46 years, two months and four days – until last Saturday night, that is – with a pretty good handle on what the term “manning up” actually meant.

Silly me. I’d always figured it had something to do with being brave or tough enough to deal with an unpleasant situation. But now that Scruffleupagus has spoken, I’m ready to reconfigure my vocabulary.

Because what it’s apparently meant all this time was do whatever you can do to tilt the playing field in your favor, and then – if things still don’t go your way – feel free to employ excuses as needed.

    Case in point, Manny Pacquiao.

Prior to Mr. Max setting me straight over the weekend, what I’d assumed Pacquiao and his team had done before, during and after his May 2 date with Floyd Mayweather Jr. was simple: [Click Here To Read More]

I'am tired of Hearing about Mayweather vs Pacquiao for nearly 5 years straight.

Time to move on, Underwhelming fight.

One fighter who doesn't throw landed the least amount of punches in his career

while the other who throws alot, threw the least amount in his career.

Just a underwhelming fight, below expectations on both ends.

                  glad it's over.

I smell a rematch coming though, too much money.

They let this fight Marinate so much, they were both on the tail end of their careers.

Probably have 2 fights left for both, tops.

Best writer on this site... I made a post pretty much stating the same thing that Lyle just did albeit not as eloquently. Max shined in his post fight interview with the entire world watching only to turn around the next week and ruin it by throwing in all the subliminals, excuses and outright lies. Someone at HBO gave him a good spanking, I wouldn't be surprised if it was old Lamps that put Max on his knee and afterwards told him he "only hits him because he loves him"...

Ambien is a hell of a drug Max I hope it can help you sleep at night... Money helps too I guess.
