Clean effective punching FIRST AND FOREMOST. Who lands the cleaner crisper punchers. Everything else is subjective.

I usually have the runner winning the rounds/fight. Running = beautiful boxing.

By the 4 criteria. Something like

              70% clean effective punching
              12.5% RG & EA
              5% defense

I draw a T on a piece of paper , put each fighter on either side
At the start of the round , I put my pen in the middle of the T and move it according to clean punches landed ( example I might move it 1/10 of a inch for a jab , 1/2 inch for a power shot ) If no real punches are landing for an extended time I may move my pen slightly to the fighter trying to push the action

I try and not look down until the rounds over , once it's done I look down and see what side the pens on . If the rounds ends and the pens somewhat in the middle Instead of writing 10-9 I'll just draw a line with a notch on the side who I think should have won it , If there's even amount of close rounds I'll usually split them up equally if there odd I tend to give the extra round to the fighter who won the most clean rounds

It's an inexact science but so is boxing judging in general.

Whoever retreats and holds the most, wins. You have to appreciate those type of high drama ring warriors.

What If you are having a good day and you are still stroking when the fight Is over? Is It considered a draw?
