Favored fighters don't seem to get much props for beating the underdog by KO or UD. Although a Floyd KO win was unexpected, because he's so favored and superior to every boxer of his era, it would sink in easier if Floyd KO'ed Pacquiao. Which is why JMM got so much props, and a Floyd KO wouldn't get as much credit.
No. Win or lose Marquez always got props. Heck, many here think he won all fights even though he backpedals all the time. But he doesn't hug. And he backpedals with the intent of countering. He doesn't just run with no intention to punch. That is Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd, you beat a handicapped Pac. We know the facts thats why we expected you to do better against a one arm fighter.

Just beat a healthy Pac and that will go some way to erasing that tainted win.

I predict that the gutter-creature known as Mayweather, will, five years after his boxing career, be picking butts out of the garbage cans of Vegas. Everyone knows that his an absolute sucker for betting in Vegas. He's a prime customer.
As such, he gets whatever he wants in the town. I thing he engineered Pacquiao's loss, by referees, to Bradley. Now, he knew damn well that Pacquiao was injured before the fight and probably let it be known that if the fight was cancelled, there would be no future date. Pac had to go through with the fight. And I believe Pac when he says the Mayweather was pulling on his arm in some very funny looking clinches.
Pacquiao is not blameless in what happened, but Mayweather is a de****able character. His opportunistic attack on Ortiz typifies his whole character.

Even women who normally don't watch boxing ask "how come when it's Morales, it looks exciting, but with this guy it's a lot of hugging and running?" This alone should tell you why you don't get props.

I personally would not mind the running so much, but the hugging is just not boxing. You can punch and you can be punched while you run, which what boxing is all about, but not when you hug. That's the first thing you did when Pacquiao got you in the corner. And that's what you did a lot of times the entire fight.

Again, that's why you don't get props.
            The bitter truth.

^^ All Flowmos should reread THAT one carefully.

If you trash a healthy Pac, you are TBE!

But if you fight a practically even fight no matter which way you score it (fairly) with a guy with a busted shoulder, who was DENIED treatment before the fight, THEN YOU GET NO PROPS!

                It's simple as that!
Boom!! You just knocked out Floyd brother!

What's funny is Showtime uses the KO clip of Ortiz as a highlight for Mayweather, when it is a low-life move.

I know Bro. Just said it just in case a Floydiot accuses me of making this up.
