Would a fighter with an injured shoulder be firing off combinations and doing pad work 2 days before a fight?

He did it for most of his career.....

He didn't mention injuries after the fight. He said he believed he won and the reason given, for not throwing a lot of punches, was Mayweather moving around too much.

I actually think Pacquiao's behaviour after the loss is more damaging for his legacy. Maybe he will cool down in a couple of days time (as he looked completely deflated after the match up) but as things stand he is showing that the humble guy act was just that, an act.

Take the defeat like a man, Manny. You're getting into David 'The Toe' Haye territory here.

I'm not a Mayweather fan but he won that fighter fair and square. He has an ability to make great fighters look bad due to his excellent counter punching and lead right hand (and many other skills). I give credit where credit is due.

Right now Mayweather can only be beaten by age and time. It would take an all time great like Robinson or Leonard to beat him and even then it would be a close fight.

Particularly for an "honorable" "man of God".

Maybe Pac has to make himself believe this to reverse the psychological damage of the loss? He was made to look average.
