Against Marquez, Bradley and even Algeri he didn't come in from different angles and throw a lot of punches because they are not stationary. That's the bottom line. When he fought Cotto and Cotto started moving away Pacquiao had a hard time finding him though it was to late for Cotto. Against Margarito and De La Hoya neither fighter moved well so Pacquiao was able to move to different angles and find the target almost like a punching bag to be honest. Now u put him up against Mayweather and his output will take a bigger dip because Mayweather makes his opponents reset over and over again and keeps them off balance. The jab also played a huge part. Roach and Pacquiao didn't have an answer for it cuz they didn't expect it that much. But if Roach would hav done his homework correctly he would hav noticed that against smaller opponents Mayweather uses the jab a lot more. Pacquiao's legs were fine and it's funny that this whole time the issue was Mayweather's legs. It was Mayweather that caused Pacquiao's low output and movement.
At first I was disappointed by Floyd but after watching the fight again (because the first time I watched it in a bar in Zürich) I saw how Floyd put on a masterful performance. He never let Manny get into his comfort zone and whenever Manny tried to punch and jump around Floyd, Mayweather got out of the way quick. The only thing I had a problem with was Mayweather allowing Manny to walk to him because whenever Floyd stood his ground he was pounding on Manny. Great performance by Floyd but I was agreeing with Sr about backing Manny up because that is when Pacquiao looked his most vulnerable. Manny caught Mayweather with some good lefts, even had Floyd hurt, but Mayweather just shook it off and came back stronger and I think for Manny it was discouraging. Watching his face said it alone. Funniest part was when Max Kellerman told Manny "You think you won the fight?.....Why?".

This fight doesn't change anything about either fighter. Manny is still one of the pound for pound best in the business. But like I said before, Floyd is a bad match up for Manny. Manny strives against fighters that will stand in front of him and attempt to **** with him. Manny's speed always wins in those situations. But when you have someone who has the type of footwork and speed such as Floyd's, it's a different look and it's frustrating when your target just won't sit still.

Floyd is the ultimate athlete business man. For years he has built the almost WWE heel image and it has worked incredibly well for him. If he were an unknown fighter and fought the way he fights now I don't think many would watch him. But he started his career being brilliant and fun to watch and that paved the way for him to build the bad guy persona that now carries him without him taking too many risks in the ring.

All in all the fight panned out like I expected. I predicted a late stoppage or the UD. And in the end Manny walked away with over $100M in his pocket so I don't know how anyone can say Manny lost.

It was a historic event and I enjoyed the match, I know a lot of casuals would not have been satisfied because there being more boxing than fighting and perhaps not getting the satisfaction of Mayweather losing or getting stretched out. I thought it was worth the £20 pounds and happy to see Floyd get the W, going forward I hope we see less vile posts chastising or disrespecting either Floyd or Pac, its over now and I hope they don't lose to anyone else going forward. If either one fights Khan I hope they knock him out

Hell...Zab Judah and Castillo were the only ones in Floyd's career to trouble him.
