    Manny Pacquiao cast a shadow over Floyd Mayweather's conclusive points victory in Las Vegas by claiming he considered postponing the welterweight showdown because of a shoulder injury.

    Pacquiao suffered a tear in the joint during sparring around three weeks ago and requested permission from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for a pain-killing injection, but the request was refused.

    Apart from a dominant fourth round when he backed Mayweather up with a hard southpaw left before unleashing a barrage of punches, he made little impression on the richest fight in history.

    Leave it out. There was nothing wrong with his shoulder. He was whipping left and right hooks like a mad man in the dressing room before the fight.

      Listen, PAC could fight floyd 10 more time with 4 good shoulders and the result would be the same every time. Bad taste coming from PAC mans camp. I dont expect any thing different from freddie roach but Come on manny Credit where credit due.

          How old was Canelo when he fought Floyd? 22 maybe?

          Basically a kid compared to Pacquiao but he took his loss like a real man, accepted defeat with grace and dignity and just said he was in with a better fighter.

          Show some respect to a guy who simply outclassed you. There's no shame in being outclassed by Mayweather, it's always a possibility. Marquez sometimes moans about decisions but sometimes you can see where he's coming from yet you never ever hear him make an excuse for being outclassed by Floyd, he knew what it was and has always shown respect. Guerrero too, simply admitted in the post fight interview that Mayweather was a little better than he expected. It happens.
