Comments Thread For: Arum Shakes Head at Mayweather-Pacquiao Ticket Snafu

So we are now officially less than two weeks away from the May 2nd showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. But as of Monday, there were still no tickets on sale to the public( which would be very limited, regardless) or for that matter, for the closed-circuit. Also, those involved in the event, from the host hotel (the MGM Grand) and the promoters don't have their tickets.

As of now, there is no evidence of actual tickets for that event.

"Look, all of that will come out and be plain,"said a frustrated Bob Arum on Monday, who promotes Pacquiao and has been growing impatient with this process.

I'm so glad I didn't make plans to go to the fight I would be sweating bullets right now.

People saying this is mind games....

Isn't Mayweather Promotions taking the charge of promoting this event?

The build up to this fight is so weird.

        Tickets not on sale yet
        No press tour
You even have to pay for the weigh in.

Wait wasn't there a post about two weeks ago quoting Ellerbe "tell Bob to relax, we just shipped the tickets out to him today"?

To anyone here who booked flights and hotel rooms for this fight I feel for ya'll. I really hope this doesn't end up a mad dash around town on fight night for folks.

Imagine the tickets never come up and they fight in an empty arena.

They shoulda just let TR handle everything. TMT is not built for this kind of event.
