Comments Thread For: Provodnikov Says Send The Contract Over For a Rematch

Ruslan Provodnikov gave the fans a showing and more when he gave it his all against Lucas Matthysse this past weekend. Provodnikov lost a close majority decision against Matthysse. Provodnikov and his team were open to a rematch even though it seemed like Mattthysse’s side was looking to move forward from this fight.

“I’m open to fight anybody as always, any money and any country especially if people want to see this fight again,?Provodnikov said to krikya360.com. “If the fans want the rematch, that’s what I want to give them. If there’s going to be a rematch discussed, send me a contract and we will do it again.?br /> [Click Here To Read More]

This is not a rematch fight, at least not yet.

I totally agree. It was a great fight, but a rematch is not necessary at the moment.

Matthysse really needs to fight him again unless he gets a fight with Crawford or a rematch with Danny.

I agreed with the scoring of the fight but Matthyssee kept "blowing the lead". Provo deserves a rematch.

lol Provo is an animal. Keep this guy away from punchers for a couple of fights, he's taking too much punishment. How about Vargas vs Provodnikov next?

It's not good to get your brain smacked around like that against one of the biggest punchers in the sport in consecutive fights.

Provo needs a fight against a lighter puncher in his next bout before the thinks about a Matthysse rematch, it was merciful for him that Matthysse hurt his hand in the 6th or 7th.

What light hitting 140lb contender can Provo fight next?

I understand your post but Provo is who he is. If you put him in with a boxer he will lose. His best chance is a power puncher who will stay close unless he can force a guy like Bradley into a nasty brawl.

i think it was after the six, because in the sixth matthysse was doing what he wanted to with provo, landed at will, brutal round.
