This was all around ******. First of all it looks racist no matter what. Secondly if i'm not mistaken he involved his son in the controversial picture. Not a good look. Trash talking and insults are good for the entertainment of boxing outside of the ring, but once you bring racism in to it, it just looks sad.

That's really disappointing. I'm not buying the whole cultural thing. The monkey comparison is universally a racist remark at this point around the world.
He's been living long enough in America that he should know better. Especially with two black trainers.

Kovalev is a racist... If you have watched his interviews over the years, he has a great disdain for dark skins... The guy is mean inside and out of the ring... Still one of my favorite fighters to watch, but his actions and words over the years makes it clear he is a racist dude
