Hagler has his opinion but is wrong about Mayweather because Mayweather does give to charities and such. Even though he criticized Floyd, he also acknowledged he is a great boxer and skill wise better than Pacquiao. Not everyone will praise but in the same breath can't deny.

it really is crazy how all these guys hate mayweather. it just seems like there has to be some jealousy involved i mean lets be honest. maybe im way off base but your telling me none of these guys appreciate mayweather? it almost just seems like they are jealous he is as successful as he is. Maybe its because i didnt become a boxing fan until like 2011 even though since i been obsessed with boxing i missed a ton of the antics besides the stuff that went main stream. but from looking back most of it seemed like an act to play the bad guy character. I dont there just has been so many brash boxers and it just seems strange that the one who has had the most success doing it is hated by all the legends. besides even if you hate mayweather its plan as day the guy has matured and is a different person today then he has ever been.

Hagler is a legend he can say what he wants, he also is loved and respected, things that continually elude mayweather. Sure as an american and a boxing fan i appreciate mayweather to some extent, but i hope pac gives him his comeuppance, i think thanks in large part to him boxing is in a worse place than ever, sure it may regain popularity but its all about the money and not anything diehards like me and marvelous marvin can appreciate what with guys fighting twice a year and fighting soft touches and tuneups all the time a la mayweather.
