While since coming to America, he was best known for fighting Mexican fighters. In Asia, of course, he fought mostly fellow Filipinos, Thais and the occasional Indonesian and Australian.

He alse fought several Japanese and Korean fighters who were horribly overmatched.

Whenever Freddie Roach runs his mouth about Pacquiao not having a right hook before him, think of this fight.

Pacquiao's 2nd fight at Super Bantamweight.

Arnel Barotillo was a fringe contender who was tough and strong. The Australian National champion who had several minor belts at 122.

He was driving Pacquiao back early, roughing him up and working the body.

Pacquiao dropped him with a series of right hooks in the 3rd round, first time Barotillo has gone down in 34 pro bouts.

Pacquiao then hurts him with a right hook to the body and later knocks him out with a right hook, for Barotillo's first ever KO loss.

Is that the reason he has yet to fight a full fledged welterweight in his past 5 fights?
yes. because pacquiao is the only one who cut weight in boxing

1,2 skip a few 6,7,8......... No mention of his losses or the losses of his opponents before fighting them. This is a very biased look at a career.

                    i am biased but....

                    i got facts and video.

no big time promoter, no hype machine, little amateur experience.... wins a lineal championship at 19 yrs old.

takes a championship fight on 2 weeks notice, no training camp, wins a belt in 2nd division.

jumps to a new division with no tuneup vs an ATG in front of a hostile crowd, wins major upset.

trilogy vs another ATG in another 3 FOTY level fights.

4 fights against his arch nemesis in 1 fight of the year and 2-3 fight of the year candidates.

                    stuff of boxing legends.
