Comments Thread For: Artur Beterbiev Aiming To Fight Again Next Month

Pepsi Coliseum, Quebec City, Canada - Montreal-based Russian Artur Beterbiev crushed former title-challenger Gabriel Campillo, knocking out the Spaniard at 2:22 of the fourth round with a massive right-left combination in a light heavyweight bout.

It was the eighth knockout in as many pro bouts for Beterbiev, who enjoyed a standout amateur career. Campillo fell to 25-7-1, with 12 knockouts, dominated the whole way by Beterbiev who proclaimed himself ready for a professional world title shot.

Good hopefully he can corner Adonis and give him no where to go other than a fight with himself or Kovalev, then we can get Beterbiev vs Kovalev on the go, two real men.

Why not? He was good enough for Stevenson he's good enough for an 8 fight pro. Bika is durable and could probably extend Beterbiev later into the fight plus it would provide another way to make Stevenson's reign look more pitiful than it already is after Artur stops him.

If any advertising agencies in Quebec are looking for somebody to be the face for a campaign involving eunichs Stevenson will be unrivaled and can begin a modelling career after his glass jaw gets shattered.

Why not dude, Beterbiev needs rounds, Bika ain't never been stopped. It makes perfect sense. I'd bank on Beterbiev stopping him on his display against Adonis though, the guy is simply more ruthless, none of this show boating nonsense and dancing in the ring from Beterbiev, he entertains with his fists.

              Beterbiev signing with Haymon means

              1) Stevenson will be protected and never have to get in the ring with Artur

              2) Kovalev vs Beterbiev becomes harder to make because of the promoter and network issues.
