To try and act as if Stevenson was expected to just walk through Bika shows how little you actually know about boxing.
Without looking it up, who's the best fighter bika has ever beat.

He is an old 168 gatekeeper, who's never beaten anyone of note, it was suppose to be a showcase for Stevenson

Stevenson is annoying as hell and his competition since winning the title has been a borderline joke. That said, he looked pretty good against a guy that's pretty tough to look good against. So kudos to him on that.

He's pretty much reached a point in his career where only one fight, and one opponent matters. With his age being what it was when he won the title. I perfectly understand wanting to milk the title and make a lil bread. But its been two years. He needs to go ahead and accept his fate. Maybe the boogyman is real and he gets wiped out by Kovalev. Maybe Kovalev is Lucas Matthysse, and Stevenson beats hims and cements his title reign. Either way, its time.

Bika was not a LHW fighter. He was a SMW moving up for a fight late in his career. He should have been easy pickings for Stevenson who is supposed to be 'Superman' with his vaunted punching power. Adonis should have had little trouble with him.

Ok, Question: How many times Brandon Rios Was KO in his career? ZERO
How many Times Bradley Was Koed in His Career? Zero
How Many Times Clottey was Koesd In His Career? Zero
And here is The same. ZERO
At Elite Level There will be no Ko's all the time.
Stevenson needs to be more constant in his fights. He just does enough To win.
He will be forced to be more fast and aggressive agaisnt KOVA but he will need more Workrate.
Bika is not elite level at SMW and surely cannot be considered elite in his first fight at LHW.

Kovalev destroys Stevenson as Stevenson will hardly lay a glove on him. Doesn't go past 6.

          1. Bika was gifted a world title in a fight that should have went to Periban.

          2. Bika hasn't been stopped in part of him fighting with his down and his opponents being scared of death of being KO via wild swaying head butt.

          3. Bika is old and a fighter who has fought his whole career at 168lbs. For Stevenson to be impressive in this fight he would have needed the KO. But as it stands he went the distance with a old, smaller gate keeper.

Abducknis chickenson and Leo pantycruz , both ran to Haymon not to face kovalev rigondeaux.

Stevenson looked bad , kovalev would smoke him . This chickenson and pantycruz will soon be exposed .

Beterbiev may very well be better than Kovalev and Adonis. Who would have thunk LHW would be lighting up so quickly.

I am really sick of promoters, networks and advisors giving us mismatches. I don't think Al Haymon is any different than Bob Arum or Golden Boy Promotions. Only 10 percent of all the fights they offer are competitive (and half of them are on PPV) while 90 percent are mismatches like Stevenson/Bika

Stevenson hasn't fought a competitive fight since he beat Chad Dawson and today's fight was just another lame mismatch. He has unashamedly dodged the only three competitive fighters in the divsision - Hopkins, Pascal and Kovalev. I hope he fights Kovalev next so Kovalev can knock his ass out and we can be rid of this clown forever.
